OUR PATENT AND INVENTIONS

  1. Inventions

  2. iPhone Ejection Fraction App

  3. Our group (in Collaboration with Dr. Rinderknecht, Dr. Tavallai, and Dr. Gharib) has developed and validated an iPhone application (see the paper here) that uses a regular (unmodified) iPhone to compute left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) form the carotid pulse.
  1. Smartphone-Based Cardiovascular Monitoring System

  2. Our group (in Collaboration with Dr. Rinderknecht and Dr. Gharib) has developed an inexpensive, noninvasive and easy-to-use cardiovascular monitoring system that can measure arterial pressure waveform and phonocardiogram simultaneously with a simple measurement. This system provides clinically relevant information for various cardiovascular diseases.
