Our group (in Collaboration with Dr. Rinderknecht, Dr. Tavallai, and Dr. Gharib)
has developed and validated an iPhone application (see the paper here) that uses a regular (unmodified) iPhone to compute left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) form the carotid pulse.
Smartphone-Based Cardiovascular Monitoring System
Our group (in Collaboration with Dr. Rinderknecht and Dr. Gharib)
has developed an inexpensive, noninvasive and easy-to-use cardiovascular
monitoring system that can measure arterial pressure waveform and phonocardiogram
simultaneously with a simple measurement. This system provides clinically relevant information for various cardiovascular diseases.
